Jennifer Aniston is PEOPLE’s 2016 World’s Most Beautiful Woman but she’s the first to admit she can be critical of herself too. So what about her appearance has she learned to accept over the years? “Well, I’ve never loved my butt,” she tells PEOPLE with a laugh in this week’s cover story.”It’s sort of a thing. I had a bubble butt and was teased.”

Now diligent about her workout – the star exercises at least six days a week for about an hour a day – Aniston says she’s learned to embrace her body’s shape. “Now people are paying money to get things injected. Like we’re sitting here dying over squats and I’m like, ‘Wait, what’s the trend?!’” she adds. “I think [I’ve accepted] just my body in general. I used to be such a little round thing, now I’m just like my body is my body so I’ve embraced things overall.”

Aniston, who isn’t on social media, says she tries not to read anything that’s written about her on the Internet either. “You know they say once you’ve been burned? I don’t feel the need to go seek out people hurting my feelings,” she says, laughing. “Because you know if you’re going to go find something positive, you’re bound to bump into something that’s not so positive. And I’m not against social media, honestly, it’s just not my thing.”

Now what appeals to her is how healthy and strong she feels after she exercises. “I feel really beautiful when I finish a great workout,” she says. “Because I’ve taken care of my body, my endorphins are going, my blood is pumping. I’m taking care of the one body I have.”
